A Not-so-quick Thankyou

Howdy! I need to say a not-so-quick thank you to one of my best friends in my school. I am gonna tell a story about the first time one of my friends actually stood up for me! Now, this is gonna get kinda sappy and personal so if you are not into that kinda stuff check out Nekkittychan ! She has fanastic art and deserves way more watchers then she has right now. She is a fantastic person to talk to so please check her out. Ok, onto the story!

In the 9th grade, I was used to being taken advantage of. I was always being pushed around and interrupted and told I was never good enough. Most of these things was comitted by Angel and my parents. (if you read my previous tales, you know Angel.) That year one of my old pals had come back from going to another school. (his name will be Angelo. For those of you who know me irl, you probably have an idea who I'm talking about.) Now, Angelo and I weren't really close friends. He was just the guy in the group who was friends with the guy I was friends with... At the time. I had talked with Angelo before and he seemed really cool but we weren't close.
We were in civics and Angel and Angelo were sitting at a table with me. We would talk about random things and I would try and join the conversation but Angel would interrupt me. As always, I would brush it off like the wimp I was. This happened quite a few times during the conversation. Suddenly Angelo cut Angel off in the middle of her sentence and said, "I feel bad for Locx." both me and Angel sat dumbfounded in our seats for a second. Angel laughed a little bit and said, "why?" Angelo glared at her for a second and said, "you keep interrupting her when she wants to talk!" Angel laughed slightly for a second and then tried continuing her sentence but Angelo shushed her then motioned to me. "You had something to say, Locx?" I was taken-back for a second then gladly said what I wanted to say without being interrupted.

From that point on I didn't let anyone step on me that way again. Every time someone treats me wrong, I think of that moment and say to myself, "if Angelo can stand up for me, I can too." and I tell that person off. I know Angelo just did it because he is a great person but, little does he know that his good deed make me the strong individual I am today!
I don't know why but that story has stuck with me for the longest time. Angelo has probably forgotten all about that day in civics but I haven't. Like I said, that was the first time anyone had stood up for me before.  The misstreatment was gone for a while but now it is slowly coming back. Now is different. Now I have someone I can go to when it gets too rough! I don't know if he feels the same about me but Angelo is now one of my closest friends I have. He has helped me see that not all of humanity is lost! Its just hiding#
I know I have been rambling but I really just want to say a not-so-quick thank you to Angelo. Even though you probably won't see this, thank you for standing up for me that day. You have no idea how much it means to me. Thank you for tuning in and have a fantaboolus day!!
